A viral video posted on Facebook on Tuesday showed three bears blowing past a Taco Bell and CVS in a shopping center in Tahoe City, California. A Placer County Sheriff's Office deputy captured them on camera while he was patrolling the Lighthouse Center shopping area next to Lake Tahoe.

"Well, our resident bear whisperer, Deputy Nevins, was at it again last night in Tahoe City!" a Facebook post on the sheriff's office page said. "He was patrolling the Lighthouse Center when he encountered these three 'little' bears. Looks like the second one was trying to get into the trash can. We love how they all gathered up and took off together! 'Here comes the cops, run!!'"

In the video, Deputy Don Nevins is seen approaching the mother bear and her cubs and can be heard saying, "What are you guys doing?" throughout the video. "Fleeing felons," he also said, while laughing.

Nevins then zooms the camera in on one of the bears and asks jokingly: "What are you guys doing? Especially you."

Since the video was posted Tuesday, it has garnered over 70,000 views and has been shared over 1,000 times at the time of publishing this story.

This was not the first time Nevins was dealing with bears in the area. In October this year, he was also seen chasing away a very large bear that was caught window shopping in downtown Kings Beach at Lake Tahoe in California.

In October, the Placer County Sheriff's Office posted video on its Facebook page of the bear peering into shop windows in the area.

In the video, Deputy Nevins was seen shining his car's spotlight on the animal and shouting, "Hey, big boy!" before he warned the bear against breaking into any of the shops it was seen sniffing around. The bear eventually ran off into a park after running across his patrol car.
