The game was scoreless through five innings until Miranda Elish changed the game on a full count. The solo-home run got the Cowgirls on the scoreboard first.
OSU added one more in the seventh and that was all the insurance Kelly Maxwell would need. 15 strikeouts for Maxwell on just two hits to sit down all three North Texas batters.
The Cowgirls won 2-0 and advance to the Super Regionals.
