⏱️45
There's more. The referee's three more minutes are determined by the missing goal throughout the first half, and both teams will be looking to take the lead. Martínez's header was deflected by the defense, and Pumas would have scored a second if it hadn't been for it.

We have to be smart
Jesper Sørensen spoke before the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League: “We can't stop talking about the atmosphere; everything around it is great. We know we're playing against a team that has a great attendance at their stadium. We've already seen the Olympic Stadium in Mexico, and it's fantastic, but we have to look ahead and maintain a high level. Overall, this whole experience is a good thing for us. Obviously, they'll have a lot of support from their fans, and we know it's difficult for the players to play here. And we try not to look at other things outside the agenda regarding the city, even though we know there are other opportunities and things that are great.”
“We do know what to expect from the Pumas. We can expect a home-and-away game, although obviously every game is different and the objectives change. I don't think they'll play the same game, but I do hope they play something similar. I think they'll just be more aggressive because they're at home. We have to try to see and hope to play our game, which is really what matters to us."
"We have to be smart. We have to focus on the game for a few minutes and we have to be aware of the environment, but we have to try to cancel out everything that happens off the field, and we've done that all season, and I think we have a chance to do things right."

We're taking it game by game
Efraín Juárez spoke to the media before this game that will define everything: "We're taking it game by game, and the most important duel we have right now is tomorrow's. I'm very confident that we can fight for both tournaments. We're still in the game, and an institution as big as Pumas can't give up on one and then see how it does in the other. We'll fight until the end for both."
"It's important to have the full squad because it gives you options. The game is going to be important; we're facing the MLS leader, and I think sometimes they don't get their due. They eliminated Monterrey, which is no small feat, so we respect them and take care of ourselves."
"Those who know me know that I'm a guy who never holds any ill will toward anyone. I defend what's mine and I'll always defend it to the death, but never with any ill intent toward the opponent, much less toward the referee. They already have a tough job, it's even tougher with a guy yelling, so I have to thank them for making me grow and improve".
