AN Easter event at a shopping centre saw a "brilliant" eight per cent increase in footfall compared to last year.

The Valley Evesham said its Peter Rabbit Experience attracted large numbers of families to the centre.

Phil Maclean, retail director at The Valley Evesham, said: "We are thrilled with the fantastic turnout and the positive impact of the Peter Rabbit Experience.

"It's heartening to see families enjoying their time here and contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.

"Our team is dedicated to creating memorable experiences, and this Easter's success is a testament to their hard work."

Leisure operators at the centre experienced a 53 per cent increase in spend.

Retail operations across the scheme also reported positive results, seeing considerable growth throughout the Easter period.
