No more Blockbusters in Alaska come the fall

Just one Blockbuster will be open in the U.S. now that two of the three remaining in the U.S. are closing in Alaska.

The Anchorage and Fairbanks stores will hold video liquidation sales through the end of the summer, according to the New York Post.

At one point the video retailer had over a dozen stores in Alaska. The last remaining store come this fall, whose owner stated he has no plans to close, is located in Bend, Oregon.
