The most popular travel destinations in the world in 2024 were in Europe, while the U.S. is in 12^th spot, Turkey is in 10^th spot and Thailand is in 15^th spot. For American travelers, 2024 saw the UK, Portugal and Japan topping the list of the most visited countries.

The most popular travel lists are world wonders, capitals of the world and culinary experiences.
